As a club member:
1. I will abide by the SONG Constitution, Bylaws and Code Of Ethics and by the rules of ASFA and the American Kennel Club. 2. I will behave in a manner that is conductive to the purpose of this Club and maintain a high standard of sportsmanship by my own example both in and out of competition. 3. I will not use the Club or sport as a political stepladder, to advance my hound’s career or to inflate my own ego. 4. I will, at all times, try to be constructive and instructive in my dealings with other members and with the general public. 5. I will maintain high standards in the care of my hounds and will encourage the same in others through my help, guidance and education. 6. I will accept responsibility for the behavior of my hounds in public and in competition and will not enter a hound that may be a danger to other hounds or humans. 7. I will strive to educate all interested parties about the sport of lure coursing. 8. I will not engage in malicious or intentionally misleading or exaggerated statements about other owners, their hounds or their practices. |
